EFI Global continues to deploy experts to the Hurricane ravaged areas of SoutheastTexas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.

EFI Global, a leading provider of forensic engineering, fire investigation, environmental, accident reconstruction and laboratory testing services, continues to deploy experts to the Hurricane ravaged areas of Southeast Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.

EFI Global experts are seeing progress and extensive cleanup efforts as they continue to conduct field work including: structural evaluations; water and moisture evaluations; mold inspections and remediation; asbestos surveys; and roof evaluations. EFI Global’s Catastrophe Response Team is currently working with more than 50 clients, and expects the hurricane-related work to continue well into 2006.

Due to this high demand, EFI Global Catastrophe Camp Sites have been established in Beaumont and Port Arthur Texas; Covington, Louisiana; and Pascagoula, Mississippi, but EFI Global investigators are handling jobs throughout the Hurricane impacted Gulf Coast region.

“EFI Global is rotating our CAT Teams, including engineers, fire investigators and environmental scientists, in order to accommodate the unprecedented number of projects EFI Global is processing,” said Ed Peszek, Catastrophe Response Team Manager, EFI Global, Inc.   “We have responded to over 1200 claims thus far and intend to meet all of our clients’ needs utilizing EFI experts from EFI Global offices throughout the U.S.”

EFI Global is continuing to take disaster recovery inquiries and assignments through a dedicated Disaster Recovery phone line operating from EFI Global headquarters in Houston, TX.  24 Hour Disaster Recovery Line:  1.888.888.2467.
